Put down your pumpkin spice latte, grab your reading glasses, and somebody call the ’90s because apparently TICKLE ME ELMO IS BACK!

And before we go any further, I have a confession.

I OWNED A TICKLE ME ELMO. IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Yes. HIGH SCHOOL.

Old enough to drive. Old enough to date. Old enough to know better.

And there I was, tickling a red stuffed animal until he fell over laughing.

We listen, and we don’t judge here. RIGHT?! 😂💋

Listen, I loved stuffed animals. I had absolutely no shame about it.

Okay, maybe a little. LOL!

My standards were simple. Give me something cute, cuddly, and preferably capable of laughing at my jokes. 😂

And if you remember the original Tickle Me Elmo craze, you KNOW the madness I’m talking about.

Parents were lining up outside stores, shelves were empty, and grown adults were practically ready to enter the Hunger Games over a laughing stuffed animal.

And now, 30 years later, Elmo is making his comeback.

Which raises a very important question…

Does this mean my stuffed animal collection is officially vintage? Because I would like to speak to management. 🧸😂

Good grief. I’m telling my age this morning!

You beautiful, budget-destroying little red bullseye. You’ve really hit the target this Christmas!

More than 8,000 new holiday gifts, thousands of affordable finds, Christmas toys, beauty gift sets, cozy pajamas, holiday decorations, and enough stocking stuffers to fill stockings belonging to people you haven’t even met yet.

Target, you know EXACTLY what you’re doing.

Target’s Deal of the Day begins November 1, and its Early Black Friday Sale runs November 5 to 7!

Ma’am, I haven’t even finished eating the Halloween candy I bought for the trick-or-treaters. 😉

And now I’m supposed to grab my purse, find my credit card, and start Christmas shopping?!

So naturally, I’ve been doing what any responsible adult would do.

Researching Target’s holiday deals, checking prices, investigating return policies, and reading the fine print on Target Circle memberships.

Because if we’re going to financially embarrass ourselves in the Christmas aisle, we’re at least going to do it with a coupon and a plan!

Speaking of stuffed animals and little ones, I have a question.

I miss those Christmas mornings when my kids were little. The excitement, the wrapping paper everywhere, the toys scattered across the living room, and those sweet little faces lighting up.

There’s just something about seeing Christmas through a child’s eyes.

And maybe that’s why one of my favorite Christmas traditions these past few years has been choosing children from an Angel Tree.

I’m doing it again this year, and I am SO excited!

I love picking out their gifts, imagining their excitement on Christmas morning, and knowing that somewhere, a little one might be smiling because someone thought of them.

It brings back a little of that Christmas magic I remember from when my own children were small. ❤️

Last updated: October 31, 2026. Target has confirmed its early holiday sale dates and announced thousands of gifts across toys, beauty, fashion and home. The individual Black Friday prices are not out yet. Bookmark this page. I’ll update the product sections as the deals are released.

When Does Target Black Friday 2026 Start?

Target’s Early Black Friday Sale begins Thursday, November 5, and runs through Saturday, November 7, 2026, according to Target’s holiday announcement.

And bestie, that’s only the beginning.

Target’s Deal of the Day returns November 1, with a new deal every day through December 24. For the first time, Target will also show a one-day preview of the next day’s deal. That’s especially helpful when you’re trying to plan your holiday shopping around a budget.

New limited-time deals will also drop every weekend throughout the holiday season.

Should You Shop Early or Wait Until Black Friday?

Here’s what I’d consider:

• Popular toys: If you find one at a price you’re comfortable paying, buy it. Target will match its own lower price if it drops within 14 days (more on that below).
• Electronics and appliances: Compare exact model numbers and prices across stores before you buy.
• Christmas pajamas and decorations: Keep an eye on inventory. Popular sizes and designs may sell out before Thanksgiving.

Jenn’s tip 💋: Put November 1 and November 5 on your calendar. Those are the first two dates I’d watch.

🎁 Target Christmas Gifts Under $20: Affordable Holiday Finds

Target has announced more than 8,000 new holiday gifts for 2026. More than half are only at Target, and most new holiday items are $20 or less. Thousands of gifts are $5 or less.

Now that’s the kind of Christmas shopping news I like!

Whether you’re buying for teachers, coworkers, grandchildren, teenagers, or the family gift exchange, affordable gifts deserve a spot on your shopping list.

Christmas Gift Ideas Under $20

Prices seen on Target.com October 30. These are regular prices, not Black Friday discounts, and the Elsa doll price is the online price. Check the current price before you buy.

• Stocking stuffers under $5: small toys, holiday accessories, candy and little gifts.
• Gifts under $10: small toys, accessories, seasonal home items and holiday treats.

🧸 Target’s Hottest Christmas Toys for 2026

Target has released its Bullseye’s Top 50 Must-Have Toys list for the 2026 holiday season. More than half of the toys are only at Target, with prices starting at $4.99.

And yes, our little red friend is on the list.

Tickle Me Elmo Giggle Max

You already know how I feel about this one! 😂

Tickle Me Elmo Giggle Max is the new version of the 1996 toy that started it all. He laughs, talks and responds when you tickle him. If you’re shopping for a younger child, this is one to watch as the November deals begin. My local Target already showed only a few left, so don’t wait too long.

Being on the list does not mean a toy will be on sale for Black Friday.

What about LEGO and Nintendo Black Friday deals? LEGO, Barbie and Nintendo are some of Target’s biggest names this season, but the exact November 5 to 7 prices are not out yet.

💄 Target Beauty Gift Sets and Advent Calendars 2026

Okay, bestie, let’s talk about the beauty aisle.

Because apparently, buying Christmas presents for other people requires us to test at least three lip glosses and smell every candle along the way.

Target has announced new holiday beauty products, including exclusive collections, gift sets and beauty advent calendars, plus new and emerging brands at the Target Beauty Studio.

Beauty Advent Calendars

These make fun gifts for teenagers, beauty lovers, and anyone who enjoys a daily surprise. Before buying, check how many products are included and whether they’re full size or minis.

Holiday Beauty Gift Sets

Look for skincare, makeup, fragrance and personal-care sets. Gift sets are easy when you’re shopping for someone who already loves a brand. Compare the value of the individual products before assuming the set is a bargain.

New Fragrance Gifts: Haeze

Haeze, a new fine fragrance brand only at Target, launches November 1 online and in select stores. Prices start at $10 for a scented candle, with a $20 discovery set of five mini perfumes and a $49 Eau de Parfum.

🎄 Target Christmas Pajamas 2026: Matching Family and Pet Pajamas

Bestie, is it even Christmas morning if somebody isn’t wearing matching pajamas?

Target has announced holiday pajamas for the whole family starting at $10.

And yes, the dog can match too.

Because apparently, the dog needs a Christmas outfit too. And honestly? I support that decision. 😂🐾

• Matching family Christmas pajamas: Look for coordinating designs in adult, kids’ and baby sizes. Check whether each piece is sold separately.
• Matching pajamas for couples: Perfect for Christmas Eve, holiday movie nights and those adorable Christmas morning photos.
• Christmas pajamas for dogs: Check sizing carefully around the chest and neck, and make sure your pet can move comfortably and doesn’t overheat.

Oh, the Christmas decor aisle.

A dangerous place for anyone who has ever said, “I’m just looking.”

Target has announced festive decor starting at $5 and faux fur throws for $30, plus nostalgic sweet treats and host gifts from Favorite Day.

• Christmas decorations from $5: small seasonal accents, ornaments, tabletop decor and holiday accessories.
• Candles and home fragrance: easy stocking stuffers, hostess gifts or a little something for your own house.
• Faux fur throws for $30: a cozy blanket makes a practical Christmas gift.
• Holiday kitchen and entertaining: festive serving pieces and gifts for the friend who loves to host.

Jenn’s tip 💋: Before you buy another decorative reindeer, check whether you have somewhere to put him.

💰 Does Target Price Match? What to Know Before You Buy Early

This is one of the most important shopping rules to understand before buying early Christmas gifts.

Target matches its own lower price. If Target lowers the price of an item you bought from Target within 14 days, you can ask for the difference. That covers Target.com, your local Target, the Target app, and Target’s digital ad.

Target does not match Amazon or Walmart. Target’s price match policy covers Target’s own prices only.

What doesn’t qualify: clearance, closeout, liquidation and refurbished items, a lower price at a different Target store, and purchases where you used other Target coupons or got a promotional Target GiftCard. Other exclusions may apply.

Bring proof. In the store, show the lower Target price. For online orders, chat with Target and have the current price and your order number ready. Screenshots are not accepted.

Jenn’s tip 💋: Keep your receipts and check prices again during the November 5 to 7 sale, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Remember, you only have 14 days.

🎯 Target Circle vs. Circle Card vs. Circle 360

Target has three programs with almost the same name. And bestie, if you’ve ever wondered which one you’re supposed to have, you’re not alone.

• Target Circle (free): Target’s free loyalty program, with weekly deals and personalized offers. For most shoppers, signing up is a smart first step.
• Target Circle Card: Target’s debit or credit card, with 5% off most purchases, free shipping on most items, and extra time on most returns. Exclusions apply.
• Target Circle 360 (paid): same-day delivery on orders over $35, free shipping, and some member-only deals.

Is Circle 360 worth it for Black Friday? Think about how often you shop Target all year. If you regularly order groceries, household basics and gifts for delivery, it may pay for itself. If you’re only buying a few Christmas gifts, do the math first.

Jenn’s tip 💋: You do not need Circle 360 to shop Target’s Black Friday deals. And check the automatic renewal before you join.

📦 Target Holiday Return Policy 2026

Before buying Christmas gifts, check the return deadline. Target’s return windows depend on what you buy.

Does Target extend returns for Christmas? Last year, Target gave extra time on electronics, Apple, Beats and most Target Plus items bought November 1 through December 24, with the return clock starting December 26. Target has not posted its 2026 holiday return dates yet, so check the item’s return terms before you buy. I’ll update this when Target does.

Target Circle Card holders get extra time on most returns, too.

Jenn’s tip 💋: Save your receipts, especially when you’re shopping for Christmas gifts this early.

🚗 Target Drive Up, Order Pickup and Holiday Delivery

Not interested in navigating crowded Christmas aisles? Target has easy ways to shop:

• Order Pickup: order online and pick it up inside the store.
• Drive Up: order in the Target app and they bring it to your car.
• Shipping: fees and timing depend on your order and membership.
• Same-day delivery: included with Circle 360 on orders over $35.

Jenn’s tip 💋: Check local stock before you drive across town for a popular toy. Pickup availability can change fast during Black Friday.

🎁 Is Target Giving Away Free Gifts on Black Friday 2026?

Remember my free-gift-at-the-door days? This year, Target IS giving something away, just not on Black Friday.

On Saturday, November 7, from noon to 4 PM, participating Target stores are giving away a free Holiday Bear keychain (a little red and green plush teddy bear) during the Holiday Kick Off With Toys event. No purchase is needed. It’s one per guest, first come, first served, while supplies last. Kids under 16 need an adult with them. Check your local store’s events page to see if your Target is taking part.

Another stuffed animal for the collection? Don’t mind if I do. 🧸

Target hasn’t announced any Black Friday door gifts. So please, bestie, don’t stand outside a store at 4 AM because somebody on social media promised you a free air fryer. 😂
