Things to Do in Orlando This November 2026: Gobble, Gobble & Wobble! It’s Turkey Time in Orlando

Fall festivals, holiday lights, theme park magic, Winter Park favorites and dog-friendly adventures, all in one place

Things to Do in Orlando This November 2026: Lake Eola at sunset with the Orlando skyline and fountain, a cozy blanket, coffee, a pumpkin and fall leaves.

Hey you, it’s me! 💋

This is officially my first holiday season living in Orlando, and after seeing how this city celebrated Halloween, I have a feeling November is going to be an adventure. One minute we’re surrounded by pumpkins, and the next the Christmas trees are going up. Somewhere in the middle, we’re supposed to remember Thanksgiving!

So I did what any new girl in town would do. I rounded up everything happening in Orlando this November and put it all in one place: fall festivals, Veterans Day, holiday lights that open before Thanksgiving, theme park celebrations, Winter Park favorites, date nights, Turkey Trots and plenty of spots for our fur babies.

This month, I’m making a point to be thankful, explore my new hometown and say yes to a few adventures. Thor and I are regulars at Lake Baldwin Park, but I’m ready to discover new spots, and I’m sharing my own Orlando bucket list along the way. Whether you’re a local, an empty nester, planning a date night, visiting with family or traveling with your dog, grab your calendar. We’ve got some exploring to do!

Dog-Friendly Things to Do in Orlando 🐾

You didn’t think I’d put together an adventure guide and forget our four-legged family members, did you? Thor and Chanel have places to go and squirrels to chase, too! Thor and I already know Lake Baldwin Park well, so I’m looking for a few new spots this month.

Parks and outdoor spaces

  • Lake Baldwin Park: off-leash dog area, lake access and walking paths.

  • Constitution Green: downtown off-leash dog run.

  • Lake Eola Park: scenic paved loop for leashed dogs.

  • Mead Botanical Garden: peaceful leashed walks.

  • Blue Jacket Park: open neighborhood space; follow posted leash rules.

Patios and hangouts to investigate

Relax Grill, The Stubborn Mule, The Lucky Lure, 903 Mills Market, Vanbarry’s Public House, RockPit Brewing & Distilling and BarkHaven are on our dog-friendly shortlist. Patio access and event rules can change, so call before bringing your pup.

November dog-friendly events

Our list includes Pet Night on the Farm at Southern Hill Farms on November 5; Fall Fiesta in the Park on November 7–8; Pups, Pumpkins & Pints at Boxi Park, November 12–15; and the Sanford Weenie 500 on November 14. Jenn’s Top 5 Orlando November Bucket List 💋

I’m the new girl in town, and I’m making my first Orlando holiday season count. Here are five experiences I want to try:

1. Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens | Nov 20–Jan 3

Holiday lights, beautiful gardens and a festive date night.

2. Now Snowing in Celebration | Nov 28–Dec 31

Snow in Florida? I need to see it! Confirm this year’s exact event dates before going.

3. Jingle Eve in Ivanhoe Village | Nov 21

Holiday shopping, local businesses and fireworks with free general admission.

4. Rent a Moke in Winter Park | Choose a sunny afternoon

A little electric vehicle, scenic streets and a new way to explore my hometown.

5. Sidecar Electric Bike Ride With Thor | Date TBD

Yes, I want Thor riding beside me in a sidecar! I’ll confirm weight limits, restraints and rental rules first. Sidecar Social Bikes →

Come Back for the Scoop!

I’m making my way through this list, and I’m taking you along! Come back to find out what I loved, what I’d absolutely do again, and what I’d skip next time. If I’m spending my time and money checking these places out, you might as well get the scoop before you go! What should I add to my Orlando bucket list? 💋

Date Nights, Dining & Something Fancy

Baldwin Park makes a lovely evening outing. Happy-hour spots to check include The Osprey, Seito Sushi, La Bella Luna and Blue Jackets. For a special occasion, our fine-dining shortlist includes Victoria & Albert’s, Capa, Knife & Spoon and the local favorite Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster. Confirm menus, hours, dress codes and reservations directly with each restaurant.

Thanksgiving Morning Turkey Trots | November 26

Some people start Thanksgiving by running a 5K. Meanwhile, I’m still figuring out who’s cooking the turkey! Local options include the Seniors First Turkey Trot at Lake Eola, GRO Gaining 5K at Blue Jacket Park, Rise & Trot in Lake Nona and the Oviedo Turkey Trot. Check registration, routes, fees and start times with each race before you sign up.

Black Friday & Small Business Saturday

Black Friday is November 27, and Small Business Saturday is November 28. Park Avenue in Winter Park is a great place to browse boutiques and enjoy a coffee while supporting local businesses. Ivanhoe Village and other Orlando neighborhoods also make fun shopping outings. I may go out for coffee and come home with a shopping bag. Oopsie!

Free Things to Do in Orlando in November

Who says every holiday adventure needs a ticket? Try Fall Fiesta in the Park, the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival, Jingle Eve, a walk around Lake Eola or a Park Avenue afternoon. FusionFest also offers free admission Thanksgiving weekend. Food, shopping and premium activities may cost extra. For me, an afternoon outside with Thor can be just as good as a big-ticket outing.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Orlando | November 26–29

Thursday, November 26: Start with a local Turkey Trot, explore a park or reserve Thanksgiving dinner. I’m leaning toward keeping it low-key again this year. Sometimes a wonderful restaurant meal and time together are exactly what the holiday calls for.

Friday, November 27: EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays begins, and the free Frontyard Holiday Festival opens at the Dr. Phillips Center. Black Friday shopping is another option.

Saturday, November 28: Support local shops on Small Business Saturday, explore FusionFest at Loch Haven Park, or check the Now Snowing celebration in Celebration. Verify its event calendar before driving over.

Sunday, November 29: Return to FusionFest, enjoy holiday lights on a ticketed evening or take a slower afternoon in Winter Park.

A Little November Reminder

As I plan my first holiday season in Orlando, I’m reminded how easy it is to rush toward what’s next. November is a good time to be thankful for the chapter we’re living. Some days that might mean a big holiday celebration. Other days, it’s a walk with Thor, a new coffee shop or an afternoon somewhere I’ve never been. Those little adventures count, too.
