Tesla’s New Roadster: What If Success Isn’t Guaranteed?
Hey you, it's me! 💋
Wait. WHAT just happened last night?!
Did anybody else grow up watching The Jetsons and wondering when we were finally going to get our flying cars?
Well, apparently, we're getting closer!
Last night, Tesla unveiled its new Roadster, and this thing drove upside down, flipped through the air, and jumped over other cars. It even demonstrated going from 0 to 60 mph in less than a second.
I mean, George Jetson, where are you?!
But here's the part that really got me thinking.
Tesla first introduced the idea of this Roadster back in 2017. Nine years later, we're finally watching it do some pretty unbelievable things, and it's still not expected to go into production until 2028.
Nine years!
And I started thinking about how many of us have dreams that are taking a whole lot longer than we expected.
Maybe it's a business you've wanted to start, a book you've been trying to write, a relationship you're hoping to repair, or simply a version of yourself you've been trying to become.
I know a little something about that.
My book Silent to Spoken finally launched on October 6. And goodness, the journey to get there had its share of delays, disappointments, and moments when I wondered if it was ever going to happen.
Here's what I've been thinking this morning.
Success isn't guaranteed. And neither is failure.
Sometimes all we can do is take the next step, even when we have absolutely no idea how things are going to turn out.
And maybe that's enough for today.
So, tell me something.
What's one thing you've been putting off because you don't know how it's going to turn out? And what would one little hop forward look like this week?
Head over to the Pen Pal section and write me back. I really do want to hear from you.
Until our next chat, just stay sweet!
I love you,
Jenn 💋
